Beading Euphoria...Updated
Wow - did I ever love the new bracelet I just learned. A huge thanks to Cathi at Bead Creative for teaching this amazing and FUN woven FREEFORM PEYOTE bracelet. I have to say, it's the most fun of all the bracelets I've made so far.
My own bracelet isn't finished, but I'll be teaching a class at the library this Tuesday night. (call to sign up, very limited space) I've included this photo of someone else's design - each bracelet will be unique - and ours will be a tiny bit simpler to do. Once you've learned the stitch (which is easy as pie) you will be going crazy with embellishments. Call NOW @ 964-8401 to get on the list. Lisa - Youth Librarian and Beading Fanatic

2000 New Pets - GOING GREENER
I have now successfully maintained my brand new worm composting bin for a full week. Table scraps are being devoured every minute of the day saving space in landfills and the cost of my garbage. In fact, they're eating away as I write this! Did you know worms also enjoy munching on dryer lint and dog hair as well as the usual delicious rotting fruit and vegetables? Yeah, and they like pasta, too. I'm happy to have them in my home, but I'm not sure my cat, Jack, wants to share his space on the stairwell landing in the basement. So far, though, there have been no fights and the worms are silent on the issue.
